What we’ll do
To get a dish perfectly right the ingredients have to be so as well. We will start by visiting a local farmer’s market, a short walk from our class where we will pick fresh local produce for our meal. I will teach you the tricks of how to identify the best ingredients. We will then head to our class to start with prepping our ingredients. We will help you prepare the ingredients while giving you a little history about the dish we are preparing and what makes it so unique in the Egyptian cuisine. We will then dive straight into how to prepare and cook the meal while focusing on basic Egyptian cooking and serving styles. Finally, since you can’t really cook a meal without eating it, we will get to enjoy what we have collectively cooked and share great stories over a hard earned meal 🙂
