Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrival at Cairo International Airport, assistance by our representative, and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Cairo - Lake Qarun - Qasr el-Sagha - Dimeh el-Siba - Petrified Forest

Breakfast and departure towards Fayoum. Continuation to the northern part of Lake Qarun, home to the Qasr el-Sagha temple dating back to the Middle Kingdom. We drive to Dimeh, which was once a transit city for caravans from the Nile Valley and the Western Desert. Lunch and drive to the Petrified Forest, considered an open-air museum of marine animal fossils that lived in this valley more than 50 million years ago. Dinner and overnight at a 4* hotel.

Day 3: Fayoum - Cairo

Breakfast and departure for Cairo. Arrival and free afternoon.

Day 4: Cairo / Aswan

Breakfast and at the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Aswan. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Earlier visit to Agilkia Island, home to the Philae Temple dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk in the red granite quarries. In the afternoon, a stroll along the Aswan corniche and the spice market. Accommodation.

Day 5: Aswan

Breakfast and optional overland excursion to Abu Simbel. Free afternoon. Hotel accommodation.

Day 6: Sailing down the Nile on a Felucca - Aswan / Kom Ombo

Breakfast and at the scheduled time, transfer to the pier to board a sailboat (felucca) from Aswan to Kom Ombo, admiring an unforgettable landscape of the Nile. Overnight on board.

Day 7: Kom Ombo / Edfu / Luxor

Breakfast and departure in a private vehicle to Luxor with a stop in Kom Ombo to visit on your own the temple shared by Sobek and Haroeris, and Edfu with its grand temple dedicated to the worship of Horus. Arrival in Luxor and hotel transfer. Free afternoon.

Day 8: Luxor

Breakfast and early in the morning, we will cross the Nile to the Theban necropolis to visit the Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, visit the east bank where the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple are located.

Day 9: Luxor / Cairo

Breakfast and at the scheduled time, transfer to Luxor Airport for a flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10: Cairo

Breakfast and departure to visit the three pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Khafre, and Mycerinus, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple of Khafre. Visit the museum, where we will admire the masterpieces and the treasure of King Tutankhamun. Free afternoon and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Cairo

Breakfast and free day to stroll through medieval Cairo, admiring the alleys, caravanserais, mosques, and palaces of this neighborhood and the famous Khan el-Khalili market.

Day 12: Cairo / City of Origin

Breakfast and at the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to catch a flight back to your city of origin.
