Nile & Temples (3 Nights Cairo – 4 Nights Cruise)

Breakfast. In the morning, a panoramic tour of the Giza Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. In the afternoon, the possibility of taking an optional tour to the city of Memphis, Egypt's first capital established in 3200 BC, and the Saqqara necropolis, where you will visit the Imhotep Architect Museum, the Step Pyramid (the first in history), the Pyramid of Teti with pyramid texts engraved on its walls in low relief, and the mastaba of Kagemni. Free afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take the flight to Luxor. Arrival and embarkation on the cruise. Visit the temples of Luxor (dedicated to Amun-Ra and his wife represented as a vulture) and Karnak (the temple of temples), which form one of the most impressive complexes of Ancient Egypt. Overnight on board.

Breakfast and visit to the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the Pharaohs in hypogea where the kings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties were buried, as well as some queens, princes, nobles, and even animals; the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, located within a monumental complex called Deir el-Bahari; and the Colossi of Memnon (statues of Amenhotep III that bear witness to the funerary temple built at the beginning of the 14th century BC). At the scheduled time, we will set sail for Esna, crossing the lock, and continue to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.

Arrival in Edfu, the best-preserved temple in all of Egypt, dedicated to Horus (the falcon god). Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the temple dedicated to Horus and Sobek (the crocodile god), on whose walls ancient Egyptian medical instruments and the calendar are depicted. Sail to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.

In the morning, visit the Philae Temple, built during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras and dedicated to the cult of the goddess Isis, and the Aswan High Dam. Dinner and overnight on board.

Breakfast and disembarkation. Possibility of taking an optional excursion to Abu Simbel; the great rock-cut temple was dismantled and reassembled to save it from the waters. Located about 300 km south of Aswan in Nubian territory, it was built to glorify Ramesses II the Great, who is deified and seated alongside Ptah, Amun-Ra, and Harmakhis. Transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Cairo.

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to Cairo Airport and flight back to your home city.
